Thanks for the nice comments, everyone. :) I feel TONS better. Less daily pain, I can go up and down stairs without groaning in my head and feeling winded when I'm done, I can get up off the couch without "rolling" myself off (like I had to when I was hugely pregnant and had adopted at my higher weights), it's easier to jump around and chase my kids. I'm not done by any stretch of the imagination, but I'm much happier now.

The liquid diet was New Lifestyle. You can click the link to check out the plan; basically it was a low carb, low fat, low calorie, high protein, plan. I stayed 100% true to plan until Thanksgiving, then I allowed myself to eat regular food in moderation (staying away from most refined carbs) and also did well that day, but when I was halfway into December I started binging occasionally. Most times it started when I didn't drink my shake at the right time and I was too hungry to want to bother with a shake. So I just figured that maybe it was time to switch to a plan that teaches me how to eat regular, healthy food in normal portions. I'm willing to go back to the Liquid Diet if I find I cannot control myself with South Beach. I'm hoping that won't be necessary, however.
