Can we delete a Poll that we started?

| You can only delete posts that haven't been replied to. There will be an "X" icon along the top bar of the post where the "Quote" and "Edit" buttons also appear. Once someone replies to your post, the only option then for a user is to edit it. I don't know specifically if someone responded to the poll, but did not leave a textual reply whether the "X" would still be available. Otherwise, a mod like pookiebear, babice or myself would have to delete it. |

Okay, thanks.
I started out my journal with a new year's poll, and I guess I didn't realize that if I ever wanted to get rid of it, I'd have to ask one of you guys to delete it! :oops: Good to know!

| Just checked again out of curiosity. What happens when you click on the edit button on your first post? When I edit it and scroll down to the polling part there is a checkbox option for "Delete Poll". I don't know if that is a moderator feature or not. If you have the same checkbox then you should be able to edit it yourself and delete the poll, but leave the post text. If not, it looks easy for a mod to do if you want it deleted. Not a biggie really. |

Would you mind deleting it if you could? I tried to edit the first post I made in my journal, but it wouldn't give me the option to delete it...
It's not a big deal if you can't, though, but I'd love it if you would try! |
