IS THERE ANY WAY WE CAN PROHIBIT PEOPLE FROM EMBEDDING URLS IN THEIR FIRST 25 OR SO POSTS?
THIS WOULD GET RID OF A LOT OF SPAM. ESPECIALLY THE MOST OFFENSIVE AS WE SEEM TO HAVE HAD TODAY?

| That'd be nice, but no way to enforce it from the moderator's set of commands/privilges. Have to be a system admin thing if even possible and she isn't around much. |

I'm an admin of the "other" site and as far as I can tell, restricting urls in posts can't be done. I've tried to find ways to stop the posting of websites in the memberlist and can't do it. We've had to change our BB to registered posters only and once registered the account has to be activated by me. That's cut back on the SPAM alot... but it's also alot of work on the admin's part. Right now we're getting 10-12 new registrations a day... maybe one or two will be "real". The rest I delete before they can post anything. So far this seems to be working. We were very tired of junk being posted, too.
