Not very dramatic...but I'm getting there.

I have been getting frustrated with my sloooooowwwww progress lately so I'm posting these to remind myself that I have made some progress even though it is slow going and I still have a long way to go.

This is in May - 170 lbs. tight size 14.

This is early August - 158 lbs. comfortably loose size 12, same shirt as first picture but obviously fitting much better.

You are making progress. Your waist looks smaller and more defined. That shirt really does fit you better. It is even longer on you now!

I can totally see a difference. You have more shape to your body now. I bet (off camera) you can see the difference in your face too. Great work! Congrats! :D

Congrats on your success! You WILL get there!!

Funny thing is...i'm wearing the same exact pants as you right now and they're also getting looser!

Keep up the good work!

Thanks everyone.

I was having a particularly bad day because I ate and drank too much on Labor day (we hosted a party which is always my downfall). My body was not happy and I was up 6 lbs on the blasted scale! Today I am back down to 156 at least. Too much wine will really make you bloated I guess. It's the first time I have done that in months so I hadn't really thought about it.

There is no way I am going to reach goal by Nov 1 as I hoped and that is frustrating. I just have to focus on the improvements (from size 14 to a 10/12 - those size 12s in the picture are too big now. My husband told me I need to go out and get some clothes that fit properly but I want to wait until 10s are just a tad roomier) So I know I'm getting there. I'm just so impatient.

Thanks again.

You do look great - I can really see the difference. And I'm glad to see you are about to hop into those sneakers for a energetic walk!

Gotta love it when those pants get looser! Keep up the good work!

I can definately see a difference. I know it's easy to get impatient after losing those quick pounds in phase one. But I always think of it like this; In three months I could've easily gained ten pounds but instead you lost ten. So it's kinda like you lost twenty pounds, the ten you lost plus the ten that you didn't gain
