Congrats on being brave enough to post your before photos. I know how hard they can be to look at, however they are great to have so you can motivate yourself to stay on track.

You can do it, I just know you can!

I have really enjoyed the support on this site. And I am totally new to message boards.
I posted my shots too, and I have a belly shot ready for when I can make a comparison (hopefully it gets much smaller).
I am on my own at home. The worst part is quitting the beer. Which of course my husband didn't. But when I started the diet on 8/21, I quit, so tomorrow will be a week with no suds!!
Welcome aboard!

Thanks Kiranfor your support!

My family finally left and I went shopping for a few days...was too tired to shop for a week though.

I've pretty much accepted what I look like. Recently I've felt terrible and I know its the way I eat. I also have an 8 month old niece and I want to have energy when I see her to play with her. My energy level is pretty low.

The only thing that I might have trouble with is figuring out how to eat a little at work. I work from 9:15 - 6:30. I don't really want to eat a large meal before I go to bed and I'm not used to a big lunch.

Well, week one is over with and I lost 11 lbs! Best part is I had bought 2 pairs of slacks to wear to work about a month or two ago and they fit now! I bought them with the intention that I would loss weight. Being 6'1", I have a hard time finding long pants/jeans so when I found some, I bout 3 different sizes......smaller that is. So I'm now fitting size 24 and they fit well...not tight at all.

I really hope I can make this a permanent change to my lifestyle. I want so badly to be that size 14 that I was when I got married.....and I was still 200 at that point. I can't even fathom what size I could be. I know when I was 185 a year before I got married that I still could have lost weight. Thats why I put my goal at 170. Hope its do-able! :D

Damn, a lot of people have seen how fat I am! HAHA!

Trying to decide how oftern to post another pic on here. I think for myself it would be a good motivator to post once a month just to mke myself look at what I am or am not doing .........

Aingeal, you can already see the difference in your hips and behind after a loss of 13lbs. Keep it up!

Thank you. Its funny, but I cant see the difference. Maybe after I hit 20 or 30 lbs......

I'm going to post some new pics on Feb 2. I think one month intervals will give me the incentive to keep going.
