Alright, well maybe I am just blind (or too lazy) but I couldnt find my post of pics on here so I will just make a new one! Not like I dont have the time :lol: So, heres my story, the short version of it anyway..
My name is Kailah (p. Kay-la) I am 20 years old, from Vancouver Canada, was a student @ university for the last 2 years but taking some time off. I am leaving for Australia September 5th to see/live with my boyfriend, travel and work.
During my first year of university I gained 35lbs :shock: I came home miserable and fat. I decided to do something about it, and remembered that I had success with the SBD the following summer, which I had done with the soul intention of losing 15lbs and looking/feeling better before leaving for school. I lost ~30lbs last summer. I came home weighing ~232, my highest weight ever. I went back to school, lost a good 10lbs, gained it all back (was sick for 2 weeks!) but started working out several days a week, plus i walked everywhere. I came home in April this year and only gained ~5lbs, weighed 208.
I started eating better the beginning of July and 2 weeks in I started P1 weighing 205. Today, I weighed in at 187! I am nearly halfway to my 2nd mini goal! My overall goal is to weigh 150-157. 164 is where my ideal weight is for my age/height. But being in the 150's would really make me happy, but we will see what my body says to that. If I stop losing at 163 but Im rather muscular, then obviously thats fine, but as of right now I have a very high body fat percentage (~34%) but Ive lost 5% body fat in the last month so...cant complain. Just means I have ~30-40lbs that I will be able to lose.
Alright, so for the pics!
This was when I was 17, I was around 175 and this was when I "thought" I was fat...shows what I knew!
This was at my heaviest right before I started SB. Was around 230-235
This was taken X-mas day weighing 202lbs or so. Thats my mum :)
This was taken in new york weighing bout the same..
This was taken 2 weeks after I got home weighing 208...
These next ones were from today! Wearing my new skirt and top! I see more of a difference when I look at these photos versus looking in the mirrow everyday. I weigh 187 and feeling great, cant wait to weigh at least another 25lbs less! My face is cut out, had no one to take pics and I was heading out so I just snapped a few in the mirrow :roll: Also took a pic of me in jeans, still a bit bottom heavy there..all in due time it will slim down..I know that :)
One from yesterday out in the garden, my face is not as chubby!

| Wow Kailah! You are doing great. Your legs, belly, arms...everything has gotten smaller and you can really see a difference! You are so pretty and have such a bright smile. Keep up the GREAT work! :D |

Awww :oops: ...thank you all, you are all very sweet. I definatly feel better, still have a long ways to go but thats all about the journey, cant just wake up skinny! I can tell a difference from May of this year to now, mainly because I dont look "lumpy" anymore. Still in a 12, weird enough, getting closer to size 10's but figure another 12-15lbs til that happens. Went shopping today to pick up a couple tops and ended up buying a pair of jeans. The ones Im wearing in that pic from yesterday umm...they split in the leg! I sat down and they ripped! Had NO jeans left so said screw it and bought a pair @ half price so paid $25..no biggy. Ended up spending $70 total and got those jeans and 3 tops...now Im done! Was looking for shorts but gave up lol.
Thank you all again, will have morepics to post shortly! Prolly in 3-4 weeks, hopefully will be down to 178-180 by then but we'll see! One day at a time... |

| Thanks! Yeah, I have no idea how to make them smaller, unless I just put the links for them on the post instead, annoying really. I still weight quite a bit but I at least have a shape, and its a start! This summer I didnt have all that extra weight from my first year of university but Ive had accumulated weight from the last 5 years to lose. Still a size 12, hoping to be in 10's soon, my goal are 8's, and to lose another 30lbs or so, it might happen, we'll see how I go! |

Two ideas.
1. You can use http://imageshack.us to host them. They have a resizing option to various sizes on the page you fill out to upload the file.
2, The only other option is to use a photo viewing software that has a resizing capability and resize them yourself before you upload them to a hosting site. I use a freeware program called IrfanView for this. If you do a websearch you can find some download sites to get it from if you like. |

Thank you all again! Progress is how I descrive with WOE and WOL. I still have a ways to do, but I realized now that the really hard part is over and done with. I only have 23lbs to go until I am at my "healthy" weight and about 30 until I am at the weight I want to be at. I have lost 51lbs in the last year or so but am 43lbs from my heaviest weight...
I feel good (well not at the moment, kinda queasy actually!) and normally when I get to this point I start relaxing a bit then things go downhill for a bit but nope! Full speed ahead! I have ~16 weeks til "vacation" which is when I am going up to the Great Barrier Reef for a week with my BF. If I can lose 1-2lbs a week from now until then I will be really happy. Still trying to get down to 170 sooner versus later tho! I wanna buy a bathing suit!
Im contemplating going for a run, it'll be my first in a week and a half because I buggered my foot up but its healed now for the most part, just dont wanna risk injuring it again...but truthfully its rather hot out and Im feeling a tad lazy!
Thanks again for all the encouraging and congratulating comments! I know that from personal experience seeing other ppls progress pics is really motivating :) |
