I have updated my pictures and scanned an old picture of me about 7 years ago at 230 lbs.
So, In the first set of pics I took my favorite jeans that fit me perfectly before and tucked the end of the waist into my pants and held them up to show the difference. In the second set is the before and an after pic of me and my hubby at a wedding party April 7th 2007. You can click on the newest ones to see them larger.
BTW, I'm around 5'9" or 5'8 1/2" depending on the person measuring.

THE big pants (as I'm going to keep them and label them that) are a size 20 from Eddie Bauer. I am now wearing 14's loosely and am fitting into alot of 12's. In fact I have fit into every size 12 I've tried on recently.
I picked up 3 pairs of Old Navy size 12's at a garage sale for 50 cents today and they all fit fine.
I picked up a pair of 14's last week, also Old Navy brand and they fit around my hips more than my waist.
I was psyched.

Wow! Great job!

I love to keep some big pants around too just for this purpose. It's fun & encouraging to see what changes you have been able to implement & accomplish.

Keep up the good work!

Awesome job. You have done great! Isn't it fun to see how far you have come. I too have a pair of big pants and can't wait to do this someday! :D

I'm just glad I can find clothes at garage sales and thrift stores or I'd be totally broke
It is very liberating though. I can look for clothes in the regular section instead of the plus.
I like the fashion of the plus size clothes at Catherine's and Lane Bryant but I have to say that shopping in those stores broke my heart.
What don't kill ya' makes ya' stronger.

Wow
What an inspiration you are to me!
I would live to leave Catherines behind. Although I would miss the really nice sales lady I think she too would be happy when I leave!

All the best to you :D

WOW you look great. I have been struggling with my weight loss for the past few months, but these pictures of you help me to see what I will look like when I get to 170. Right now I am about 215 and I am also 5"9'. I too have the big pants but mine are a size 38.

I LOVE the photos people have posted with their old jeans. It is a GREAT way to measure progress. I didn't keep any of my old pants... I was so happy to be into a new size that I got rid of them as soon as possible! You are doing great... thanks for posting the pictures!
