Portion size

In reading the book, there is mention several times that portion/serving size is not given....basically eat until you're satisfied. But, the recipes all have serving sizes listed and the breakfast menu for P1 has serving sizes listed.

My husband and I have just recently started and have had discussions about this, because he feels he should get a larger portion since he's larger than I am and has more weight to lose.

Breakfast is our biggest issue....specifically when the menus list a specific amount of egg cups/poached eggs, etc. to eat.

Advice? Suggestions?

Am I taking the info to literally?

start with the suggested serving size, e.g. 1/2C EggBeaters for the omlette. gradually increase the portion until you are full (not stuffed) and still losing weight. my wife and i started by splitting 1C omlettes but most mornings i make 1 1/2C now
