I am on day 5 of Phase 1 and I have to say I did pretty good at Old country Buffet - a restaurant where you can eat everything and anything. I had 2 chicken breasts (no skin) alot of cauliflower and broccoli and a salad. I also had a bowl of sugar free (no sugar added ) vanilla ice cream. I did cheat a little - I added 1 tablespoon of whipped cream to my ice cream. It was so good!!!! :)
I was happy that I did not have any real carb cravings. Usually when I eat there, I would eat the mashed potatoes and gravy, corn bread, mac and cheese, oh, the list goes on. I was looking at the food, and I didnt feel like i needed it.

Hey Barbie,
Congrats!! I went to Country Buffet myself last night. Like you, I usually stuff myself on Mac 'n Cheese, mashed potatoes, caramel rolls & bread pudding. Instead, I had ham, pot roast, green beans and a great big salad!
I really wanted that bread pudding too... |
