starting sb on monday. i have cleaned out my cupboards, refrigerator, and freezer, and there is nothing left. :D my dr. suggested this diet. i was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, but my blood chemistry is so bad and my iron is extremely low that radiation and chemo are not options. hematologist thinks that once we get the blood back to where it belongs my iron absorption will pick up. not only is the blood a perk for this diet but bald heavy people are not as attractive as bald fit people. and i want to be a bald fit person if i have to be bald. i read the sbd book and found it quite informative, i wanted to say duh all the way through the book because some of the stuff is just plain common sense. i know that getting in tune with my body is a big priorty now and the sbd seems to be the best approach, eating wise. sorry to blather on, here are my stats.
5'0", 195, 37, married, one beautiful 18 yo daughter, a cat, occupation: Middle School Librarian, hobbies: scuba diving, reading, cross stitch, and puzzles to name a few. oh my dh is a hobby too, he is so cute.
i wish everyone success in their sb journey and look forward to talking with everyone. have a great day and happy eating. |
