Hi everyone. I have been on SBD since 2/4 and was doing ok until Phase II. I have been the same weight for 6 weeks now and I don't understand why. I eat lots of veggies and most of my dinners are Phase I. I eat eggs or cereal for breakfast, salads (tuna or chicken) for lunch, and fish, chicken or meat(sometimes) for dinner with a salad and a veggie. If I snack it is either an apple with Laughing Cow cheese or celery with the cheese. I don't do much exercise because of my back. I do try to get walking in. I am going to try to join Curves if I can afford it. I have followed the menues and have used recipes from this forum (which have been great!) and I still don't know what I am doing wrong. Can someone help me please!

Are you drinking enough water-at least 64oz a day..more if you can. Maybe the cereal is the culprit....people say sometimes the time of day you eat certain carbs can stall you-is the cereal SBD friendly?

On the other hand, maybe you're not eating enough. :? You need to keep your metabolism geared up and running smoothly by giving it enough food to burn.

Believe me, I'm no expert and I sympathize with your stall. It has to be a real downer to work the program as you've been doing and not see the results on the scale. Don't give up....keep trying different things. I'm hoping someone who has more knowledge of SBD sees your post and can offer some more suggestions. Good luck!

I drink anywhere between 80 - 100 oz of water each day, plus decaf coffee. I might not be eating enough carbs is the only thing I can think of. Does anyone else have any suggestions. I really need help.

I had same experience like you when I went to phase 2 four weeks ago, I gained about 2-3 lbs of phase 2 day 1, and after that stalled 3 weeks.

But I've noticed eventhough my weight didn't go down but my clothes are loose especially my old jeans that I never wear for 3.5 years.

Now I lose 2 pounds after stalled for 3 weeks. Don't always watch your scale but you watch your clothes.

Keep it try, I feel very good with this diet. Good luck pal

We need more specifics to really help you:

How much do you weigh? How much do you want to lose?
What kind of cereal and how much do you eat?
What kind of dressing?

Maybe list your entire typical daily meals/snacks.

Sometimes people overlook hidden sugars, or they want to lose a lot but their bodies think they're already at a good weight. We just need more information.
