Is Campbell's canned tomato soup made with water allowed? In the beginning that is. I haven't started the diet yet. Just trying to get information so I can decide. :D

I would think it has way too much sodium in it, by reading the labels even the reduced sodium has a lot of salt.

How does salt interfere with weight loss on this diet plan?

Extra salt makes your body retain water weight.

Also, there's more to SB than just weight loss--it's about overall, lifelong health, and too much salt can lead to high blood pressure.

In one of the books it does say we can have it though, it suggests it for a lunch meal plan, so you may want to check the book out.

There's a tomato soup recipe in the original book with ham and garbanzo beans, but I don't remember it suggesting canned tomato soup. Which book?
