Interesting to note something. Last week TLC posted some information she received from another website. The title of the posts said things like "Guidelines for Phase 1", etc. I know where she got those posts. They were from a member (2003 member) of the official SouthBeachDiet.com website. This member posted all the information given to her on that site for her to follow. Remember, that IS the official website.
Phase 1 posting says Snacks are required
Phase 2 posting says snacks are OPTIONAL
I thought that was interesting.

| Phase I you are eating limited amounts of carbs than in Phase II that's why we snack more to keep us full. Snacks are no longer necessary because we add certain items back in like bread, cereal, fruits which were not in Phase I. |

| Yeah, apparently that is the case. I just got the impression from all the postings here that snacks are required throughout P1 and P2. |

| I always thought the snacks were required for Phase 2 also. This is good to know! |

| Now I don't think that means we should skip snacks when we are hungry. I take it to mean that we should listen to our bodies to figure out when we are getting hungry. |
