We all cheat--or at least I do. Usually when I do, I try to follow up with a rather austere day the next day. I am officially on P2, but today was actually a P1 type of day, to pay for yesterday's cheating. That is how I do it. I am no expert, but for now that is the strategy I have used. I think most of us are human on this board, and do cheat, so we have to figure out how to get back on board. That is the key to this diet, and any diet really. We need to figure out what triggers our bad behavior, and try to avoid those triggers. And when we behave badly anyway, get back on the wagon! Remember, we are in this for the long run. Oh, and also my husband pointed out that re: cheating, the easiest way to avoid it is not to take that first bite of whatever, because it is so easy to take a second, third, etc. In my case it would of "popcorn", "cheese nips", "cookies". Those are the things I love that we always have around the house because the kids love them. So, I just trrrryyyyy not to take the first bite :? Hang in there Nick! |
