I am new here and I love south beach diet so far, but I am looking for something that will whiten my teeth. I have used crest white strips and although they helped a little, I need something better but that is not too expensive.

Hey, welcome to the boards!

You need to check out the raves on GoSmile- the feedback on ebay is awesome

The best prices are from www.eyezonit.com or models-choice.com

I first saw it on TheView and saw that it's what most movie stars use. You just squeeze this ampoule so the whitening solution goes to the end of the tip, and then you brush it on and go. You don't need any trays, messy goop, strips, or time. It's perfect for the busy person and you get naturally white looking teeth. It's the best!

I've been using the Listerine whitening rinse lately. It actually works pretty well...when I remember to use it. I think I bought a large bottle for about $7 at Walmart.

I just read in a magazine about the Listerine whitening pre-brush rinse. It sounds as though it would be good.

I've used the Crest Whitestrips in the past. They're excellent, and totally work well, the only downside is that they're a bit pricey.

Walgreens has one called Dr. George's Dental White that is fantastic. And it only costs $10!!! It's a kit with boil and fit molds (like kids' mouthpieces for sports) and a tube of hydrogen peroxide gel. You put a skinny line of gel in the mold and wear it for an hour each day. In about 3-5 days you're alot whiter, and in 2 weeks my teeth were so white my husband told me to stop because they were starting to look "Hollywood".
I didn't like the crest whitestrips because they get slimy and slip around. AND like you noted, they are pricey.

The gosmile is what halle berry and other stars use to whiten. It ususally costs $89.00 from the corp site, but www.models-choice.com is having a sale the next few days. I just finished my last ampoule and my teeth went from yellow to 8 shades whiter and my friends thought I had dental work done:)

Does using these methods get you the same results you would get if you got it done professionally (through a dentist)?

I paid close to $500.00 to get my teeth whiten from the dentis, and Gosmile made them as white as when I paid all of that money.

Here are my before afters

i use crest extra whitening toothpaste (not for whitening...just cause i like the flavor and i cant find it in any other toothpaste!), but people are always commenting on how white my teeth look. which is a little weird, but thats ok. if you're looking for something cheaper, that might work for you!

the crest strips and toothpaste didn't work for me, only the gosmile, but glad it helped you.

Glad it's working for you.

I've bought gosmile for all of my family and all say their teeth are much whiter.

For those who have veneers or bonded teeth, this will also help get them to the shade when you first had them done.

There is a seller on ebay shiloh0305 who sells a kit for only $39.95 of the gosmile and it's for those who want extra whitening or who have medium to dark stains on their teeth.

That stuff rocks!

Some ladies on other forums said that the new crest pro-dental supreme is twice as strong as gosmile. It wouldn't be for the sensitive person, but that you have to buy it from a dentist www.dentalwhitestrips.com
