I can't find it in the GFGC Guide, and my instinct would be that it wouldn't be very healthy. Maybe someone here knows a good GI website.

I just checked three different websites, none of them have rice milk listed. :?

Rice milk isn't a "usual", so I'm not surprised that it isn't mentioned. Know anyone who subscribes to the official site? You could have them ask.

Rice milk usually has some form of sweetener in it. I eat cheese made from brown rice milk, it is listed in the Guide as good.

Rice milk is made from brown rice, filtered water, and a small amount of brown rice sweetener. It has a light, slightly sweet flavor that substitutes well for low-fat or fat-free milk. Rice milk is 100 percent lactose free.

I don't think rice milk is allowed on SBD only because it is mainly carbs as opposed to regular milk which is protein.

I am new, and don't know much about SBD, yet. However, I do give my son rice milk when he is sick. My good friend is a naturopathic doctor intern, and he prefers it to cows milk and soy due to the fact that it does not promote mucus. Good thing my son is not on SBD. He can not go a day without milk, sick or not!
