I started SB 5 weeks ago. lost 7 lbs in the first two weeks (yippy) However, my scale has not budged. I am curious of others who are in a plateau. How long is yours, how much did you lose once it ended (the plateau).

Here are my stats
5'3"
Currently (and for the past 3 weeks) weighing in at 146
Still wearing my Size 12 jeans (but now I can breath in them LOL) they are very loose
I workout everyday (weights and cardio)
I increased my cardio this week and it didn't help break my plateau

Looking for your experience - thanks

Go back to phase 1 for a week and see what happens. May be gaining muscle because of working out--especially since you are doing weights.

BBWB - I'm on my 5th week of SB too - I 've also lost a total of 7 lbs. although I've gained and lost within the last 2-3 weeks. I'm would stay on Ph2 and give it another week or two to see what happens. You should post your diet journal so we can take a look at it for comments. Also accept the fact that there will be plateaus and all you can do is hang in there. Send me an e-mail about your typicall daily menu if you'd like.

I'm 5' 2" 1/2 - I like to say 5 "3 and I weigh 165 (I lost a # this week, two day left in this week). I want to get down to 145-150. It's comming off very slowly, I lost 6 in the first 2 weeks, then gained 3.5, then lost 3 and now down another (yippy). I'm getting there. You can too.

Good luck.

Here is an example of what I eat in a day (this is infact today's menu) - thanks for your input

I get up at 6 am and workout from 6:30 to 7:45
I shower up and ready myself for work

Breakfast is usually:
1 egg omelett (mushrooms/onions) sometimes cheese
6 oz of tomatoe juice
1 cup coffee (no sugar but I do put in cream)

Go to work (I sit all day - I am in the computer industry)

Midmorning snack usually:
Hard Boiled egg

Lunch:
8 to 10 oz of roasted chicken breast
Asaparagus

Mid afternoon snack:
4 fresh strawberrys

Plan on taking dog for a walk (we both need to get some air)

Dinner
Chicken Breast (8 to 10 oz)
asparagus
romaine salad with mushrooms, 1 Tbsp ranch dressing

No need to snack at night - I am not hungry after a full day of eating

NOTE: I have been eating alot of eggs (since they are just so darn easy) - could this be my downfall?

ALSO NOTE: that I am 42 - slow metabo

HERE IS ANOTHER QUESTION: I have read thru many of these threads. I have found some people with my stats (ie 5'3" 145 lbs) and they say that they are wearing a size 8. How can this be? There is no way I could fit into an 8.

thanks for your input

I have had a similar experience. Started SBD 7 wks ago and have lost a total of 6 lbs and most of that was in the first 4 weeks...have been stuck at 136 for 2-3 weeks, but have been exercising 5 / week with weights and cardio (more than I ever used to) and my clothes do fit better...but it is frustrating to not see the scale move!

I am going to do a week of Phase 1 next week and see if that is a kickstart.

the journal is a good idea to see if others have ideas.

Hello everyone, it's nice to be here!

I've been on a Weight watcher's plateau for almost a year and a half, if that makes you feel any better--

I've been on PH1 for almost three weeks--I lost 5 in the first week, and have gained on pound each week after that--changing the food menu is supposed to help bust up a plateau (which I have a very hard time doing being a creature of habit/inept cook )--reading your repiles to this post makes me feel better, and gives me new resolve to hang in there--it's coming off me, hook or by crook!
