I am on my second day of phase 1 and today i had 30 pistachios for a snack but 2 times today. Once in the afternoon and once after dinner. I wanted to know if this is ok or if one dose of nuts is way more than enough for one day.
thanks so much |

| I'm in the same boat. The shells don't get in the way at all! |

I've been on phase one for four weeks -- with two fairly 'bad' weekends. Nuts are great, but the book suggests that you truly limit the amount -- because of the high calorie count, I assume.
I've been snacking on peanuts (in the shell) a lot, and I've found that eating them seems to create the need for more -- a real craving. I find that suspect. I have been going overboard, for sure.
I'm trying to limit the amount I eat of them. It's sooo nice to snack on something, though, and the saltiness is satisfying.
It will limit your loss, in the short run, if you go too far. Two snack sizes won't kill you, as long as the claories come out somewhere else. |

Probably won't hurt to do to have it 2x a day once in a while. It is better than other alternatives.
Yes, SBD does limit nuts because of caloric content. |

| You are only supposed to have one serving of nuts a day. I had to cut them out because I would always eat to many. so right now no nuts for me. Peanut butter I can control but still only 1 serving a day. |
