Hi Brenda,
My name is Cara and I too am new to this diet. I previously was on Atkins with some success but it seemed like after an initial loss of about 10lbs I plateaued. After reading the SBD book, I think it's a healthier way to go. My goal is to lose 15 lbs.
I would love an online buddy to help motivate and support our efforts. I am 31 and currently at 137lbs. I am 5'7" if that matters.
Feel free to post here or email me at ccurreri@comcast.net.
Good luck and hope to hear from you!

Hi ladies,
Could I join in too? Im turning 30 end of September, and I would love to lose 20-25 pounds by then. I have cut down drastically on carbs for the past month and switched to all whole grain products, but Im finding it really tough to do Phase 1. I'm determined to do it right starting tomorrow
I posted on a couple of other newbie threads, but they fizzled out pretty soon. Hope we can keep this going as a support group for all of Phase 1

Hi,
I would love to join the newbies group, I am 30 as well, but have about 50 pounds to loose! .....I have purchased the cook book and the food guide book, but can't actually find the SB book ANYWHERE! I have gone to all the local book stores etc. but everyone is sold out....I am going to order one online, so food ideas/combos would be much appreciated. I get the no fruit/carb part, but saw a thread about V8 for breakfast....information like this would be great until I get my hands on the actual book! I have a BBQ to go to on the 26th (Sat) and am trying to squeeze my 2 weeks in before then so I can have a few glasses of vino! |
