hello,
this is my first time writting in on this sight. i have been on sbd since 3/12. So far I have lost 12lbs. since i started p2 I have not lost anything.. I am stressing out. actuslly today I said heck with it and ate not one but two pancakes with my 1 yr old..... ahhh my plans were to give up and just start weight watchers on Monday after easter. After reading a few of these entries I think that I better give it another shot. Does anyone know If maybe this diet just does not work for some people. Also I think I need to go back to p1 and in doing this should I stay on for 1week or the full 2 weeks again? HELP!!!!

I stopped losing weight when I entered ph 2 also. I even gained a pound a few weeks. My key was to add more exercise. That really got me through it. I personally like SBD vs. a WW style plan because the foods on SBD curb your hunger and help control your cravings. The thing I hate most about a diet is feeling hungry, so being able to block or eliminate the feeling makes SBD the right choice for me.

WW isn’t a bad choice either, so you really can’t go wrong either way. Just don’t think that WW is a magic cure either. There will be weeks when you don’t lose anything on that plan too.

There are many reasons you may not be losing weight in ph2. How many/what types/when have you been adding ph2 foods back into our diet. Are you exercising? Are you drinking enough water? Are you eating too many high-calorie foods? Are you mentrating/retaining water? Are you losing inches, but not weight? It’s really endless.

Lori,

Don't give up.

I'm going thru the same thing. I've been on phase II since late Jan and altho I've lost almost 40 lbs, I'm stuck.

I did something so out of character for me... I went to a cardio kickboxing class and huffed an puffed thru the whole class but I did it. And I'm going back next Monday.

I weighed Tue morning (just out of curiosity) and 3 lbs were gone. I have 2 more to lose and I'll be back on track.

Savor how the pancakes tasted and get back on the beach with the rest of us.

You can do this!

How long have you been on P2? You might also want to make a jouranl. Someone else might see something that could be the reason for no loss, that you might not see.

Hang in there.
