Since ketchup is not premitted I use shrimp cocktail sauce in place of ketchup very little so I wouldn't ruin my diet. I'm still losing weight so it couldn't be that bad

Thanks, I think I'll give it a try. Do you know how many sugars it has?

I can't recall at the moment but I try not to use too much or too often
But here's a recipe for ketchup just in case...
Sugar Free Catsup
12 ounces tomato juice
1 T. cider vinegar
3 T. Splenda
1/2 teaspoon dehydrated onions
a pinch of each of the following
black pepper, rosemary
chives, sweet basil
parsley, thyme
Mix all together and simmer for 2-3 hours until it thickens.
You can adjust the splenda to suit your taste. If you like ketchup sweeter use 3T. |

Is that 3 T. Splenda that measures like sugar, or 3 T. from the little yellow packets in the ketchup recipe?

If you have a Super Walmart nearby, they have Heinz sugar free catsup for $1.97 for a 14 ounce container. Tasted exactly like regular catsup and is sweetened with Splenda.

I have Atkins brand and love it. It's SB friendly too.
