| Hi, I been on SBD for 10 days, and have not lost anything, :? I have not cheated, but I do wonder if having too much fat (olive oil, cheese) could be part of the reason...but anywa my question is do you think I should stay on P1 for a week longer? or move on to P2? :?: |

| Are you eating within the diet parameters? Are you eating low fat and watching sugar contents? List a day menu... |

Hi, thanks for your reply. Here is an example of what i eat
B- 2 eggs, vitamins OR Ricotta dessert
S- celery, laughing cow
L- Salad with some kind of protien (example:chicken)
S- cheese stick, ff sf jello
D- Veggie with protien (like a bell pepper stuffed with lean ground turkey, or eggplant lasanga type thingy...no pasta)
Dessert- Ricotta thing
I am at day 13 and I have lost ONE inch...that is IT! So I am getting discouraged and I can't decide whether or not to stay on P1 or just move on to P2
*only sugar I have found that I accidentally consumed was in my seasonings...i stopped after i discovered it |

Are you regular? You might need to get some sugar free metamucil or benefiber.
It may be once you reintroduce good carbs, you may lose. How were your eating habits before? If your habits were relatively healthy, you may not lose very quickly at all. Then there is the hormones. |

I stayed on P1 for a full three weeks. When I switched over to P2 I realized why it was important not to stay on P1 for so long. Just like the previous post stated, things are "moving" much better now.
Eating loads of meat, cheese, nuts, etc but no fruit or grains definitely has a tendency to slow you down. I was going to stay on P1 for longer, but I'm glad now I didn't. I will switch back if I need to in the future but will not stay on for longer than 2-3 weeks at a time. |

Vizion - I also suggest you move on to Ph2 - Ph1 is intended to cleanse you of the bad carbs and sugars. Introducing good carbs will help fuel your body and help you loose weight more efficiently. Try adding high fiber carbs, like beans & breads.
I noticed you didn't mention drinking water, are you drinking any? I find that helps me a great deal. I drink about 72-80 oz. a day. In Ph2 you might consider adding a little exercise if you're not doing any.
Good luck. |

| I suggest also checking your portion sizes. Make sure you are not overeating on your servings just becuase the item is within the guidelines. |
