Tomorrow will be my 4 wk mark and Boy was it rough the 1st 2 weeks. I was a crabby person. Everyone had to watch out for me. I hated this diet but i did stick to it and Im past it all. I dont have any cravings anymore. Ok i do love that low carb ice cream but i only have that occassionally to get that sweet in. Protein shakes from GNC help alot. i make those in the middle of the day with water, ice and a Splenda. Fills you up. I was 175lbs and now Im down to 166 lbs. Not moving too fast but Im doing alot of weight training. Getting alot more toned. The belly has shrunk some. The pants are lose. We will all keep each other going. Dont let anyone stray you from your goal!! We can do it!!

You have encouraged me so much. I am going to start this diet within the next few days, (after I gather the courage after hearing about the first few weeks on it) and just reading that it is possible to get through it was so encouraging to me. Thanks so much for your post.

Thanks for the encouragement. I think I need to watch myself and be stronger. I have done three weeks of this....and I have started to eat some chocolate ( I ordered it though my sons school 2 months ago) and It arrived last Friday. I really really love Pierres sugar free mint chocolate chip ice cream....too much, actually. I have been doing well otherwise....and still working out 3 to 4 times a week at the gym. My weight loss has halted....and I need to get back into the swing of things to keep my interest with this. I HAVE to see results to keep going.... I think I will do my Phase 2 with more emphasis on Phase 1 items...and I think I need to throw that expensive chocolate away.............yeeks.

I never thought I would make it the first 2 weeks,, I more or less followed an atkins approach as a coworker was on it and we started together, I kept my carbs below 20 for 2 weeks,, but ate really well.. there are so many great recipes out there, I keep gettingmore and more everyday,, my husband is loving all the creative recipes,, and my son almost ate the whole SF cheesecake that I made. I have been induging in some redwine now and bought alot of that SF chocolate,, but I think it has made me stall, so I am back to phase one eating till Easter so I can indulge alittle on that day. Once you get used to this plan it is not so bad,, I have not had potatoes, rice, pasta, or bread for over a month and I really dont miss it at all..
