I don't know what happened to me

I' m started phase 2 on 19 march'04, since that day I never lose any weight but I still can maintain my weight. I still need to lose about 6-7 pounds to my ideal weight.

Is this because i don't have much weight to lose? because I never eat the bad carbs since phase 2.

Please encourage me and need some advice ..................

Am I need to come back to phase 1, can I still lose weight if I come back to phase 1. Thanks

It's possible that you're eating too much cheese and nuts and not enough veggies. However...

You hardly have any weight to lose, and you've only been on p2 for a couple of weeks--too soon to be in despair. I bet those pounds will s l o w l y creep off if you stop watching the scale.

For your information, I never eat any cheese and peanut since Phase 1, because I don't really like to eat cheese and peanut.

I eat enough veggie and meat, but I still can't lose weight. Do you think I will lose weight soon and no need to go back to phase 1.

thanks

I wasn't trying to insult you; I was just mentioning possibilities. It's hard to assess someone's diet online.

It doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong--just hang in there. Like I said, you don't have much to lose, so it won't come off very quickly. I bet it's increasing your overall health even if you don't see the results in the scale. Keep it up! 8)

It's normal to stall in your weight loss when you start P2. Hang in there, though. It will come off. Also, some suggestions. If you're eating teh same things all the time, try changing your routine. If you have cheese sticks and nuts for snacks every day, try something different for a change, like an apple, or some other fruit. Do you workout? Try exercising more.

i think i've been on P2 for around 11 weeks. i would guess that i'm averaging a loss of 1-2lbs every couple of weeks. some weeks it drops and some weeks it doesn't. i exercise like a fiend, btw.

it may be that you're close to your ideal weight or you may simply be stalled for a while. i'd either exercise hard for a few days or go back to P1 for a few days to get something started.

Also, check to be certain you are eating enough. If you're eating too little, you could be in starvation mode and it will take you a long time to lose anything more.

Thanks for your reply

I never take my snack and desserts because I'm working. I don't take any snacks with me in the office.

I will do exercise to make me lose weight faster.

Could you go back to Phase 1 for a week or so to lose your last 6 pounds? I think that's what I would do, if I ever get to that point where I only have 6 more pounds.

I have not lost very much weight. I think i need to lose about 40-50 lbs. I have been on phase 2 for awhile, not loss. Well i did have a loss of 2 lbs then a gain of 2.5. I do some exercise could it be I'm building muscle? Also how would i know if I'm eating too much or not enough. I will be on spring break this week and am going to try and not eat cheese and nuts to see if it makes difference... I can use all the advice i can get.. :(
