Hi all! I was up studying for a test I am making up as I was on bedrest for quite a while with my DD... glad to see so many of you on the thread for moms! My mind was wandering and I was wishing there was some way we could all check in to the thread once a week and see how everyone was doing! Kind of like an official SB mom day, you know? We could post anything- SBD experiences, mom experiences, goals etc... would anyone be interested? I could start the thread on a certain day and anyone can then post. I think it would help motivate me, so was wondering if anyone agrees... I think I would most likely post on Friday afternoon/evenings as that would give us all some time to reflect on the week we had and list goals for the upcoming week... How does that sound?

Email me or post here if you would be interested...

Hi Jaime

That sounds like a great idea. I'd love to read some posts from some other moms. We could encourage each other!

I have a 4 yr old son and 4 1/2 mth old daughter. I'm so glad I found this diet cause it seems almost too easy :D My problem like most other moms I'm sure is finding time to exercise. Thankfully my mom is a great help! She came and sat with the kids today so I could use her treadmill and then do a little shopping ALONE!!!!

Hope you're feeling better. Bedrest sure doesn't sound like fun :(

I felt fine as soon as I gave birth! LOL! My BP was super high when I was pregnant, and then I got gestational diabetes so I felt sick all the time... once she was out it seems my body returned to normal! LOL!

I just have the one baby- she will be 4 months old on April 5 and she is such a joy to us! Carina was definitely worth everything!

I want to lose at least 44 more pounds- I lost 10 on Phase I and decided to go back on phase I as I have stayed the same weight since then. I guess I really never was on phase II totally. We'll see. DH continues to lose, so sometimes I get down about my plateau. Once we get moved, I am hoping to have time to exercise a bit more and I am sure that will help!

Jamie, sounds like your pregnancy was awful. A friend of mine is 7 months and she has been sick the whole time, I feel so bad for her. But you got a beautiful little girl out of it so it's ok.

I think that this thread is a good idea. It's nice to have support.

I have a 16 month old little boy, Nathan. everyone says 16 months is the best age, but I think I skipped the best phase and went right into the terrible twos early! I gained 80 pounds when I was pregnant with him and never lost it. I was heavy before I was pregnant, so I want to loose about 100 pounds. I've already lost 3 in 4 days so I'm on my way.... I hope
