Hello,
I know that mayo is fine, it's in the Phase I recipes. Not sure about mustard

Mustard should be fine if it's very low in sugar

I know for a fact that mustard is fine in Phase One... It is in one of the recipes, but besides that, you can just look at the ingrediants and see that sugar is not in mustard, just vinegar, mustard seed, and something else. I have been enjoying mustard for the last 10 days and have allready lost just over 8 pounds. ALso, another tip, you can not have relish ( like in your tuna, because it has sugar) but you can dice up part ofa pickle and it does the same job. Have Fun . :D

I think mustard has sugar in it. Any takers?

Here's the list of ingredients from French's yellow mustard:

Distilled Vinegar, Water, No. 1 Grade Mustard Seed, Salt, Turmeric, Paprika, Spice, Garlic Powder, Natural Flavor.

No sugar. Sorry, Candy! :)

As for pickles, you can use dills, or you can use sweet pickles/pickle relish made with Splenda.

I saw sugar listed right above the ingredients area. What is that?

In the Nutrition Facts box? I don't have any French's mustard, but I looked up mustard seeds, and they have a small amount of natural sugars.
