Hello Everyone! Well, I fell off the wagon for a few months now...but it's a new year once again & time to get back on Phase 1! These past few months have been a struggle once again with the battle of the bulge! But now it's time to get back on track & stay focused! Also with me falling off the wagon these past couple months, I've gained 8lbs.....but that's 8lbs too many! So, here's to a New Year & a New Me!

These 2 pics above are my most recent pics with me holding steady at 243lbs.....Wish Me Luck on my Journey Y'all! It's Great to have this forum & have that support from everyone. My next goal is 225lbs....Once I hit that, I will re-post some more new pics.....SO Hopefully, it won't be that long!
Thanks 4 Stopping By.......Miss Kitty36

First of all,
You look great! You carry your weight very well and I would have never guessed the weight. I am at 308 right now and I think I am much larger, I'm above 5'7" tall. How do I learn more about the 100+ lbs. to lose group and become involved. I am in this for the long haul. My husband is doing this with me, but he has much less to lose. We exercise together to a tape everyday cardio/weights and talk about through better or worse.......... try excercising and doing stretches, knee lifts, ab crunches with your husband there next too you? He's great - I love unconditional love - we will both benefit tremendously. I digress... tell me about the 100+ club?

Thank You

Spy-See, Soaker, Okroer & PuffPuff20 Thank You for you compliments! They were making me teary eyed believe it or not! That was SOO SWEET! And I am GLAD to be of some motivation for someone else in this struggle to lose weight. And PuffPuff20, the 100+lb weight loss club is a weekly thread, we all weigh in on every Tuesday & post our losses/gains or maintains for the week. EVERYONE on the thread is VERY SUPPORTIVE and BOY DOES IT HELP to read that just like you, there is someone out there during this same moment in time that is going through what u are going through. It has REALLY helped me this time in my weight loss journey to stay focused & keep track of my weight loss. I have been struggling with my weight since I've had my son over 16yrs ago, and I HAVE NOT seen under 200lbs since! But, I'm PRAYING within in a year from now, I will be where I need to be & where I want to be.
Also PuffPuff20 my boyfriend has been supportive of me while I have been doing this WOL, and alot of people have told me I carried my weight pretty good I guess. I am only 5'3, and all this excess weight has been REALLY giving my back a FIT! So, even with just 46lbs off so far, I can tell a difference in my back & how it's not as achy as used to be.
Thanks Again Everyone

Great job Miss Kitty! What a difference so far!!! Is that a happier, more confident attitude I see in your most recent pictures? I can't wait to see your updated photos! For me, it is easy to feel discouraged about how much I have to lose overall... and at times I feel like giving up the battle. However, seeing photos of where I was and where I'm now at have helped me to realize that the changes are about a lot more than just the numbers on the scale. The numbers on the scale don't accuately measure how much better I look or feel... and they can't quantify the change in my confidence and attitude. I'm glad to be here on the Beach hanging out with you Miss Kitty... and I agree, the 100+ thread is wonderful!

Miss Kitty36

Thank You LegalBeagle & MrsD for stopping by & for the Wonderfull Comments! All the Comments left 4 me so far have been Very Touching 2 say the least! If I can be of "ANY" kind of motivation 4 someone watching my weight loss progress, than that alone is a BLESSING 4 me! It took me honsetly, about 4 months of just "PREPARING MY MIND" for this challenge of Finally STICKING TO IT & LOSING THIS WEIGHT 4 GOOD. I couldn't even begin 2 tell u HOW MANY diets I have been on & failed through the years. U name it, I've been on it! SBD & this FORUM have been working Beautifully 4 me. And weight loss does honestly begin right in your mind, to build up the strength you need to succeed. We can all talk till we are blue in the face about "Oh, tommorow I will start my diet" or "I'll just eat this piece of cheesecake, it will be Ok", or, "I've lost 10#'s so far, I can have this Super Size Whopper Meal"....I've been down that road & played around with them very thoughts. But, now that I look back, I was not FOCUSED & MENTALLY Strong either at that point. I told myself & prepared myself this time that "All them good foods aren't going no where"! At this point in my life, I CAN NOT have Fries/Pizza/Fried Chicken, etc, OH & The list goes on! I can only speak for myself, but those foods are just TOTALLY FORBIDDEN 4 me at this point in time & with this way of eating. They are almost like a "drug" for me. Once I have a taste, I KNOW I WILL GO BACK! Ya feeling me on that one ladies & gents?? Having a food addiction, is almost like how a smoker has a smoking habit. But, the difference between the 2 is, We don't have to smoke in order to live, But we do have to eat in order to survive! So, that's where I had to incoroporate that, I have to be in control of food, it doesnt' have control over me no more. I am sticking to my food choice decisions now. And Today was a pure example, 2 co-workers & myself went to Dairy Queen for lunch, and one of my co-workers goes "UGGG, How can you eat salads everyday girl?"
Well, I was like "U know what, all them fries/burgers/shakes, they aren't going no where, but my health was going downhill at one point, and for now, i'm taking care of my health & eating healthy and One day again, I WILL endulge in a burger & fries on occasion, but for now, I AM NOT doing it".....and they both shut up real quick!!LOL
I can only speak for myself, but the Key for me was ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT A DOUBT MIND PREPERATION for this LONG JOURNEY! And staying dedicated to exercising, which I'm like the majority of people, it SUcks! Point Blank! But, I am always doing Leslie Sansone workout Videos and she is always saying "The more you sit, the more u want to sit, and the more u move, the more u want to move" and SHE wasn't Lieing about that one!!

Thank You All Again!
