Dolly, you go girl! Know what you mean about fear after a weight loss like that. I did that with food poisoning once and gained the week after. Wonderful for you !

Hi, I'm 4 weeks into Phase 2 and just found this thread! Here's my stats:

Age: 37
Height: 6'-0"
Starting weight: 182.2
Goal weight: 165

16 Mar 182.2
23 Mar 175.6
30 Mar 174.2
6 Apr 173.4
13 Apr 173.4
20 Apr 171.4
27 Apr 170.3

That's about 1lb a week since I started P2, and I feel good (not starving), so I'm pretty psyched!

Continuing good luck to everyone!

People need to post on this thread! :P When I was on P1 I was so jealous I couldn't, now, it's getting ignored. :( (See? It's got me emoting all over the page! ) Lol!

Anywho, even with PMS hitting me two days ago and finding myself grazing the day away yesterday, I still managed to lose 1.8 lbs since last week! Woohoo! (This may be a stretch here, but maybe, healthy grazing is NOT bad...hmm...what do you all think? I'm not real certain here because, in the past, pms grazing and the adjective "healthy" were never thought of together. )

Side note: I hope people aren't getting discouraged by the naysayers lurking on this forum lately. I certainly don't get on Atkins's boards and start spouting on about why I don't think blah blah blah. And, HONESTLY, since starting SBD my diet is lowfat, low cal, nearly unprocessed, HIGH CARB (almost all healthy!) and exactly the way I've always wanted my way of eating to be. I've tried in the past to do this myself, but the guidelines in SBD are so easy to follow and with the decraving of nasties provided by following P1 (please, it's ONLY 14 days, not a year,) it has been simple to change from my old eating habits to this.

It is my goal to live a very long and healthy life so as provide optimum interference with the least amount of trouble in my children's lives!

I would also like to state that there are several people on this forum who are not following SBD but are terrific people and have been encouraging and supportive to others. For their own reasons, they have decided to follow their own diet plans, which is absolutely fine. We're all different. My above side not was not directed at you!

So sorry Mompenguin. Check again in a couple of days :D

I didn't think I would lose this week after the feast I had at a wedding on Saturday night. No alcohol for me but I did have 2 small boiled potatos, a small piece of brushetta and a rather large helping of fettucine alfredo. I washed it all down with about 10 glasses of water so maybe that helped. I've been a very good girl since though  Oh and some ice cream for dessert too

Well I haven't really been keeping a weekly tally. I guess I'm just more focused on the total loss. But if I had to recreate it, I think it would go something like this:

Started 3/28: 219
End of P1 on 4/11: 208
4/18: 208
4/25: 207
5/2: 206

I also find I tend to gain a bit mid-week and then lose it by the time of my "official" weigh-ins on Sun. and Mon. (If they don't match, I don't consider it a "true" reading and take the higher one of the two.) That is why I actually like to weight myself every day. If I see an increase going on, I tend to become more P1 like in my eating habits within the week and then can still hopefully see some results by the end of the week. But if you are the kind that panics about "negative variations", this might not be a good idea! BTW, do folks on this thread just edit their previous posts or recreate them every week?

Also I list my starting weight as 219, but I had been as high as 225 late last year/early this year and I had been down as low as 216 just doing portion control and cutting out some ice cream consumption before bouncing back up to 219 when we officially started on SBD. So I never really know what to count as my starting weight. When I want to "inflate" the numbers and think about how far I have come in total, I tend to use the 225 number, but not all of that was SBD weight loss.
