Hi Everybody

How is everyone doing ? This week I was on ph2 & lost another 1.5 lbs. I increased my activity level which seems to be working for me.

March 22/2004 169.5 lbs

total loss of 6 lbs in four weeks.

Hi Everyone!
I weigh on Tuesday mornings, so I am a little behind. Second week of Phase 2. We were out of town this weekend and really cheated Saturday night, but got right back on track. Maybe it won't catch up with me later this week.

Saturday is my weekly weigh-in day, and this week I was down to 133.5 lbs., so I lost another 2.5! I'm happy and surprised, since I had only lost 1 lb. in each of the past 2 weeks. Stats below:

Started SBD 2/21 at 149 lbs.

Week 1 - 142 lbs.
Week 2 - 138 lbs.
P2
Week 3 - 137 lbs.
Week 4 - 136 lbs.
Week 5 - 133.5 lbs.

Total loss so far: 15 1/2 lbs.!

Just as an interesting note, I've added back even more carbs this week, but for some reason kept losing. I really thought I'd see no loss this week. Some days I had a "good carb" at each meal: Uncle Sam's cereal for breakfast, whole wheat tortilla wrap for lunch, and small portion of brown rice or whole wheat pasta at dinner.

Wow I love reading all these posts with everyone's weight loss. Very encouraging! I was a little scared to step on the scale this morning. I treated myself to dinner at East Side Marios Friday night. I ate lots of salad, 2 small pieces of bread and a big bowl of :oops: fettucine alfredo :oops: Very SB unfriendly but very delicious! On the plus side I've eaten very well all week and actually started some exercise :D I've been alternating with the treadmill one day and pilates the next. My husband has set up a weight bench so that will be next!

Okay I must admit I am getting verrrrrry frustrated here. I have been on Phase 2 for 3 weeks now and have not lost one pound. During this three week period i joined a gym 3/3/04 and have been exercising hard 5-6 x's per week. I've been doing both cardio (3x's) and strength training (2x's) per week. I have been really good with the exception of my birthday dinner (barbecue ribs and oreo cheesecake-shared with 3 others from Damon's restaurant). I have been drinking my water albeit not more than 8 glasses some days. When I input my calories into Fitday.com I keep coming up around 1580-1640 per day. According to the guidelines with exercise I should be eating around 1740 cals per day, but I am full. I spoke with my trainer about this yesterday and she said that I should NOT be strength training yet until I have lost my weight. She also said I am exercising too much (can you believe this from a non exerciser), and I am not eating enough calories. She recommended that i exercise 2-3x's per week all cardio (she advised me to try psycling) and see how that goes. Any advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

My husband and I started phase one on March 14. The first week we both lost 7 pounds :D The second week we only lost 1 pound each. :?

I would like to see 170 again and my husband feels the best at 185.

Hey, I am new to this topic.....I have been on phase 2 for a couple of days. I am a 30 year old mother of a 11 month old girl. I am 5'8".
My start weight 170lbs
End of phase 1 163lbs
today 161lbs

My goal weight is 150lbs

Total loss: 9lbs in 3 weeks.
Not as great as some people, but I am slowly losing the pounds!

Started Phase 2 today. Lost 9# in phase 1.

I'm afraid to add too many carbs, so I'm going to start with strawberries (how many is ok by the way?) and SF/FF pudding for this week.

Pau, I generally eat a cup of strawberries or raspberries at a time and it seems like a satisfying amount. According to Fitday.com, only 45.6 calories for the strawberries and 60 calories for the raspberries.

I'm in Canada and we have a great brand of various frozen berries available called "Europe's Best". They flash freeze their products and they are every bit as tasty as fresh, for a fraction of the cost. For instance, you can purchase a 600 gram bag (21 ounces) of raspberries which has about six servings for $4.99. And they are available year round too!
