Hello fellow LOSERS :D ..I am happy to report a loss of 1.0lbs for this weeks weigh in.

3/1/04 197 (1st week of Phase 2 ended)

Each week we can now just post a loss,gain,or stayed the same...

Just started PH2 today.

Starting weight = 275
03/16/04 = 266
Goal = 165

Just started Phase 2 last week and have lost 3#s for the week!!
I only added one carb back in a day so far (either ww tortilla or Uncle Sam's cereal in my yogurt). I did have red wine once. It's working slowly but surely!!

Hi Everyone,

I've lost 5.5 lbs in three weeks on Ph1. From March 17th I have started Ph2 & slowly adding the one carbs per day. I'm pretty much regular to my excercise .

Feb 24th 175.5 lbs
March 17th 170 lbs


goal is 135 lbs.

Started SBD 23/02/2004 - 151 lbs
End of week 1, phase 1 - 148.5
End of week 2, phase 1 - no idea, as I became ill with bronchitis and don't have a scale at home, and was obviously too ill to go to the gym to weigh myself
End of week 1, phase 2 - no idea (see above) - did not eat SBD this entire week, as my bronchitis left me so ill, and my throat so sore, that the only thing I could stomach were chicken noodle soup, lowfat frozen yogourt, and digestive cookies
Mid Week 2, phase 2 - 147 lbs

I've added back more healthy carbs than most people seem to, but I'm a very active person, and I find I need those carbs to fuel my workouts. During phase 1 I had no energy for my workouts, which wasn't good, as I'm a part-time group fitness instructor, and need to have energy to teach my classes. So I've been having high-fibre cereal with berries for breakfast, an apple and a yogourt as a pre-workout snack, a sandwich on whole grain bread at lunch, another yogourt as an afternoon snack, and generally some form of carbs with dinner (whole wheat pasta, whole grain bread, brown rice, sourdough bread, etc.)

Morning everybody! I bought a new scale on the weekend. I was hoping the new one would show my weight a little lower but it was the same. At least it is easier for me to read the numbers now instead of trying to read the dial :D The good news is I'm down 2 pounds this week! Still no exercise since I've started but this is the week :shock: No more excuses!!!! Hope everyone starts this week a little lighter :)

I'm down to 145.5 lbs - half a pound from my goal weight for my wedding. :) I'm absolutely delighted! :)

I expect I won't be losing much weight this week though, and may even gain a pound or two in water weight, because my birthday was on Friday, and we celebrated Saturday night with beer and pizza. :) Haven't had beer and pizza in over 6 weeks now! :shock: Hubby and I used to have that as our weekly "treat" every Friday night. Bought low carb beer (yes, I know this is not a low carb diet) to minimize the negative effects on the beer, and had "easy cheese" (ie. half the normal amount of cheese) on the pizza, but still, beer and pizza aren't exactly healthy. Then we had a Dairy Queen ice cream cake for dessert.

But it was deliberate - splurging for one special night. Since then we've been back on SBD Phase 2, and had no cravings or any other problems after indulging the one evening.

WEIGH TO GO CAYLYNN!!!! Doesn't it feel good to "weigh less" :D

We too celebrated for my birthday this weekend. I had oreo cheesecake and barbecue ribs from Damon's yesterday for my b-day dinner. I shared my dessert with hubby and daughter though.. My actual b-day isn't until Wednesday (24th)..Damon's is 45 minutes away from home so we went Sunday for dinner instead of during the week..It was soooooo good :roll: ...I won't actually be weighing in this week until Thursday due to the March Madness contest going on this board. Our weigh day is Thursdays...
