ok, so here's my pictures, one was taken at my daughter's christening in febuary, and the other was taken at a wedding i was brides matron in.. yes that's my sweet hubby.

Same reason my journal has 57,845 views and 2,698 replies. That's just the law of averages here. Don't sweat it.
Great picture... maybe someday I'll have professional ones done with my DH and DSS... or maybe a glam shot of myself. Don't know. We'll see. I'd like a nice B&W shot of myself when I reach goal weight... something provocative. |

| that pict was taken right before i got married, so i guess i weighed about 200 then. that waswhen i was 19/20. 7 years ago.. wow.....sheesh where did time go? |

I'm guilty, I've viewed both of your photos and haven't replied. I've looked at each of your photos and thought "oh how pretty they are" (and you both are, btw) but didn't really have much beyond that to say, which means I usually don't post.
Mariana - I think you hit the nail on the head... You'll probably notice that the threads with the most responses are the ones of people who have shown a big difference between their before and after or are long time regulars on the board and people are just happy to finally put a face with a name. I wouldn't sweat it...
Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see more photos as you post them! |

Go you! You look great (although you were so pretty in the purple dress picture that it's hard to imagine you wanting to lose as much as you do!) You must have one of the frames, like mine, that holds weight in sneaky ways, convincing you that you're really just 'curvy'. (For me, I was 70+ pounds too curvy when I finally woke up and went "WAIT!"
I'm going to do pics every month, so Monday is my 1 month on the beach (2 weeks Phase 1, 2 weeks Phase 2). I'm hoping (but not really expecting) to see at least a little change. I'm 16 pounds down...

| it was just a coensidence that a friend of ours took a picture of us, but i think i look smaller, i'm not saying throw the picture away anymore. i like the idea of doing it once a month or more like every 2 months. (more of an obvious show of loss) but yes even when i weighed 200 lbs, poeple said it looked like i weighed more like 170ish. so i convinced myself that i wasn't fat, just a two hour glass. mucho curvy but not a gigante elaphante |
