I'm currently on NS and let me tell you it's been hard for me. I seem to be hungry all the time and I miss my legumes. I can't add any extra health carbs, it's just all structured. The food hasn't been all that bad. Yeah, breakfast iteams can be questionable but there are pleanty of delish receipts on the support board to improve the taste of the meals. And they're super easy to make! If you need the convinience of the meals, then you're set. But you definately need to supplement the food with veges, fruit, and diary. So all that is extra. The gift card idea for the grocery store sounds like a good solution. But here's another idea. Try NS for a month. See what you personally think about it. The bad thing about NS is that it doesn't teach you anything. The support is in the groups online. The only thing that it has taught me is to eat more salads, which is a huge step for me. In order to make life style changes you need to be educated. It's the lack of knowledge (or the ignoring of the knowledge) that has as where we are: over-weight or not in the "right" weight. So, I've had to educate myself. I also don't like that they limit the amount of veges you can eat and when you can eat them. I feel that I should be able to eat health veges at any time of day in a reasonable amount. So, I'm turning to SBD. I believe that for me it will be the solution. Yeah, I've lost some weight in the 1.5 weeks I've been on NS. It does work. But you need to educate yourself on proper foods, etc so that when you come off the NS foods you don't bounce back to where you started. Good luck with the decision. Listen, you need to find something that works for YOU. YOU are the one who has to learn to eat for the rest of your life. We don't always find the right answer on the first try. Heck, I didn't. I spent the $289 on my first order but I don't regret it 'cause this is a work in process. Now I know that NS isn't for me and you need to find what IS right for YOU. You'll get there. Just don't give up.
