Hi Vic
well, after I left the hospital, I started to eat small portions..since I was BF I could not just cut everything...after my 6 weeks checkup I started working out, mostly 40 min cardio and 20 min crunches, and the diet, of course....now my baby is 20 weeks old (4month 1/2), and I think I did pretty good, I know for other moms is not that easy to loose the weight, I think we have the misconception That if we are BF we should eat heavy things to have supply, but Actually we just need lots of water and fruits. we should start a thread about mommies loosing baby weight...what do you think???

Sounds like a great idea, savayus!!!
Can I ask a question? Did you have a natural birth or a C-section? My sister in law had my nephew 8 months ago, had a c-section and now has a "tummy". :( She does Pilates and tries to watch what she eats... I told her about the beach and she's seen me lose 10 pounds/drop 1-2 sizes and keep it off in the last couple months with SBD and LOTS of exercise... any advice I could give her??
BTW - You look fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!! WAY TO GO!!!!!!!! |

Hi pookiebear
actually I had a c-section too!, and I have a tummy, small, but it is there, I think it happens to everyone who has kids, you know after 9 months of being pregnant the skin streches so much, that returning as it used to be, needs a tummy tuck, LOL :D
but she needs to do abs ( lots of), and of course watch what she eats...., I started to use my old bikinies, and my tummy looks, you know, just fine, I am not flat like a iron board, but does not look bad eithter
good luck
Silvana
ps. in the morning, I took this picture.......

| Wow! You look great! Yes, please share any special ab exercises you do. I was on bed rest for 5 months with my third child and no matter how much exercises I do, or weight I lose, I have a big round tummy. |

well, I wish I get a tummy tuck, actually I am thinking and saving money to get one after I have my second baby :) (probably 3 years from now)
and I don't do any special kind of abs, just normal ones (lying on the floor, or using a big ball as a support)...but I think the key is the number of crunches you make and the resistance you add...I do 4 rep of 20, but next week I am gonna add 25 o 30 rep.....and again watch what you eat :P
I red somewhere that you have to do at least 30 to 40 min cardio to see results, if you do less than that, is not worthy.

ps. I just opened a forum for the mommies

Great job, you look awesome!! I know after my c-section w/my last child, I now have this lil pouch that sorta 'hangs' a bit...grosses me out, , so this gives me hope that I can get it even flatter...thanks!

You tummy looks great as it is! Why do tummies have to be flat? I bet guys find a bit of a curve in the belly much sexier. But anyway it looks very natural and womanly.
You look lovely - both before and after!

yeah, I think you are right, some curves look nice actually, but mostly I want my tummy stronger, not a 6 pack, but at least with a little bit of shape

I know my boyfriend personally preferrs the little curves. His favorite body type is "slender but soft".
I see a little apprehension whenever I go to the gym  I think he's afraid i'll become a little too buff for his liking :P |
