Ive been reading about the SB and still thinking of going on it. I just some questions about the food...

I cant eat plain yogurt, but i love no fat vinalla yogurt could I use that instead of plain???

How many eggs are you able to eat a day and with or without yolk???

With the nuts do they have to be non flavored???

I think that is all for right now if I think of more I will ask!

thanks!

Yogurt-- most vanilla yogurts add a bunch of high GI sugars, so really only the plain FF kind is allowed in p1. You can flavor it a myriad of ways. Recipelover's sticky has an "other desserts" section with a thread on flavoring plain yogurt that should help a lot.

Eggs-- studies have shown that 7 whole eggs per week can be safely eaten. Dr A says there's no need to limit whole eggs unless your doctor has instructed you to limit them. If it makes you feel better, use whole eggs sometimes and egg whites or egg subs sometimes. That's what I've been doing.

Nuts-- flavored nuts would probably use high GI additives like MSG, starches, and sugars. I'd avoid them and stick with plain dry-roasted. Lightly salted is usually okay.

It's important to read the book too. It really will answer your questions and have everything make sense.

Good luck!
