Before - Jan 2003 when we bought our new travel trailer. Probably around 140 pounds and creeping higher. My size 12 jeans were pretty tight, and so was the T-shirt.
After - May 2005 about a month after getting our new motorhome. Around 122 or less. My size 8 slacks are way too big as are all my clothes. I am far fitter.
Yes, I shrunk, but something else got a lot bigger - LOL!

Yes - that's the same guy (my husband). He got fit too, even though he didn't need to lose weight. But he decided shaving was optional - and so was tucking in his shirt LOL!

| YES!!! I can see the difference, you can see it mostly around your waist and hips. You look great, and yes I too am very jealous of the monster in the background. I bet you have some fantastic times touring in that :D |

Thanks for posting! Always nice to have the image to go with the screen name. And you both look great. I didn't think people living out of their motor homes were required to shave OR tuck their shirts in! ;) Personally I try to schedule a non-shaving day once a week, just to get in practice for retirement! Cute couple! |

OK - I thought I'd post another photo of us so that you can see my face when I'm NOT squinting at the camera because it's too bright outside. Here are DH and I relaxing in our motorhome.
It was his 50th birthday. He's been a terrific SB buddy, and lost several inches at his waist and lost all his belly fat even though he didn't lose any weight. He just replaced fat with muscle!
Now you'll have a face to go along with my posts.

You look fantastic!!!! I can really see the change!!! do you and your dh do lots of traveling in that huge RV of yours?? that is what my DH and I are dreaming about having one day...you must tell me about some of your adventures....I'd love to hear them, really!! Wow, you're gorgeous! I want your hair... well, and your body, too... but you can keep your DH, I'm kinda fond of my own. :wink:
Isn't it wonderful that your DH was so supportive and also got healthier right beside you. That's so crucial, in my opinion.

Hey - I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind comments. I've posted individual replies in other people's journals, etc., but thought I should post an "official" thank you here.
In case you didn't realize it - that big motorhome is our home! We live in it now. We are switching to a totally mobile lifestyle. (It's called fulltiming in RV jargon).
WOOHOO - we're ready to put our house on the market. Talked to the first realtor today - very impressed by her. She'll be hard to beat. She thinks our house will sell fast (fingers crossed).

| Great for you and your DH, Audrey. One thing I've noticed since taking off almost 16% of my total body weight is how much BETTER I feel. I admit, I was fixated on looking better when I started SBD and now I'm motivated by how feeling better. |
