Thanks Dolly! I have a more extensive collection of photos I have put in an album and labeled with approximate weights (I keep a journal of my weight from my weekly weigh ins). It was really a boost to my motivation to look at the photos and see what a difference 40-45 pounds made... it makes me feel excited about losing the rest!
Welcome back to the Beach, Dolly! I remember you from before. You were so active on the board that I would have never guessed you'd slip up too! It's all a process... long-standing habits are hard to change. |

| Thank you for the compliments! On Friday I'm getting my hair cut and changing my look. Hopefully I'll get a chance to post new photos soon. |

Are you cutting your hair? Are you going short? I would like to get a new hair do but I am sooooooooooooo scared! Last time I did that it was this length, and they cut it above collar length, I cried for 3 months! Seriously! |

My hair is about mid-back length right now. I'm cutting it short and probably going with a much brighter shade of red. I've cut my hair from waist length to above shoulder length twice... I love having a drastic change. I need to shake things up and change right now. Change will be good. I have a couple parties to go to this weekend... I'll see if someone will snap a new photo of me so I can post something new.
Lynda, that was quite the hottie picture you posted in Viking's thread. I don't think I can compete with all that sexiness! *wink* Yes, those are MY lips in the avatar. I thought a photo of my lips would be appropriate with the "SoulLips" username. A friend once told me I have "soul lips" because my lips are full... and a username was born! |

See Kandy, it's not such a bad thing to jump in and go for a drastic change! LOL I definitely won't be crying for months after cutting my hair. I have no regrets about it! I'm in the midst of some big changes right now... I'm really feeling the need to shake things up lately. I've been feeling stale and stuck... even my weight has been stuck. I went shopping for some new clothes this week (after taking 3 huge IKEA bags full of clothes to Goodwill... and throwing out another bag worth of clothes). I was kind of surprised at the stuff I bought... much brighter and more stylish than what I wore before. I even bought a PINK shirt... I've NEVER been one to wear pink! I used to wear so many dark colored clothes... dark greens, burgundies, purples. Now everything seems to be shifting to ligher and brighter. I have 3 white blouses in my closet now... I probably haven't owned 3 white button-up shirts in my entire lifetime up until now! I went to a party today wearing new clothes and my new 'do... I got so many compliments and so much flattery about how "great" I look. Very nice ego boost! I've got another party tomorrow (Sunday) with co-workers... I'm looking forward to their comments.
