Avatars (pictures under your screenname) and tickers are controlled by your own Profile settings. To see where those are, go to the top of any page at the forum and you will see a link in light blue called "Profile". Click on this and it will take you to your own profile. I replied in your other post how to get a simple avatar. Here is a link to a thread on how to set up a ticker: Ticker Factory Help P.H.2.B has also posted some simpler/shorter instructions in serveral of the forums as well. Good luck!!
1. Avatars are the images by their names and set up in your profile
2. Tickers and sayings are in the signature file and set up in your profile.
3. The simple emoticons are available from any window you are posting or replying to. The basic set is just left of where you type your message. If you want to include one. Just click on it and it will be put into your text wherever your cursor is currently sitting. The more advanced (and fun) emoticons people use come from emoticon sites and are linked in as images into their text. You will need to find the site and know how to embed an image in your text to use these. Not that hard really once you get the hang of it. |
