Hi all i am a 14 years old boy who want to go on a diet to lose about 30 pounds fast..... But i dunno which diet is the best for me. i noe this is a south beach diet messege board but i just want to noe which diet is the fastest and easy to do. And i tried starch blockers and had a lot of starch foods and it didn't worked i gained about 10 pounds so.....
5 4 tall
current weight = 120 lbs
goal weight = 90 lbs |

Hi! My suggestion would be that you sit down with your Mom and your doctor and come up with a plan that would fit you well.

| It's always a good idea to have your doctor involved. There may be health issues that will make one plan better for you than another. And it's always a great idea to have the support of your physician and your parents so that they can assist you. |

| Good suggestions by Lynda. Also quick weight loss typicallly does not work in the long run and comes back just as quickly once you get bored with doing whatever you did to lose the weight quickly. What you really should be aiming for is an eating program that encourage good quality nutrition to support your growing body while allowing for a slow and relatively steady weight loss towards your overall goal, but then allows you to maintain that level because you know how to eat properly by then. Personally I'd plan on a minimum of 6 months to lose 30 pounds. Fast weight loss just doesn't result in permanent weight loss. |
