| I would like to add more information to my signature, but after adding the ticker and one line, it says the message is too long. The one line says "1st Mini Goal: 170 by 5/27/05". I didn't think that was so long. I've seen some signatures with fancy fonts, and many words, but I can't seem to be able to do it. Please help? Thanks. :?: |

| Sounds like they have a quota on how many characters you can have in your signature. Did you take out any extra returns? |

There is a 255 character limit. All of the characters that put up the ticker itself count towards that total and those text strings are pretty long. Once you decide to go with a ticker, it just doesn't leave much room for other text.
For example, my sig is pretty much maxed out because of all the text I needed to make Kim's FAQ page clickable and include a title without all of the detailed URL info showing up. All of the URL text is there in my sig file, but it is just suppressed from displaying by using the syntax that displays the title instead. |

| Nope. It's a forum wide setting and 255 is a pretty common limit for sig files for forums. |
