Wow!! What a finale- I can't believe I have to go the entire summer wondering
-What are they going to do with Walt
-Is Sawyer "lost" at sea- oh, and the other guys too
-What's down that hatch
-Will we ever really see the beasty things

I thought it a wonderful twist that the French lady heard the others whispering that they were going to take the boy- leading us to think the baby- and it was Walt! I knew as soon as the spotlight hit the raft that it couldn't be good news.

I am so hooked I am even looking forward to the reruns over the summer.

Oh- favorite hottie would have to be Sawyer. But, he only just squeaks by Sayid because of the dimples.

Can't say I've really got a favorite character yet- I do like how they focus on a different one each episode and I really got a kick outta seeing how everyone came together in the airport/airplane.

Favorite storyline? Hmmmm......I love the Hurley thing. I was laughing when Sawyer was reading the notes in the bottle. "Who is (whoever) and how does he have (however much) to leave to his mom?" Funny.

Oh, one last thing. Was anyone else kind of ticked at Charlie for picking up the heroin? Made me want to kick his butt.

Hi! When the others weren't at the fire and the French lady said she heard them saying "They want the boy." I thought Walt....only because they had been talking about baby this and baby that then at that one time said "boy".

Jack is cute, cute, cute. hehe

My favorite character is Hurley because he's so funny, and I like his story line.

Sawyer said, "Who is Hugo and how does he have one hundred fifty million dollars to leave to his mom?" That was pretty funny. hehe

I noticed that it was either Jack or John Locke that called Hurley Hugo when they were dealing with the explosives. I can't recall who it was, but I didnt' think that he had told his real name to anyone....but I could be wrong.

Oh man, when that guy exploded I jumped. I've NEVER jumped at a TV show! I'm one of those who hardly react to movies and such. It takes a lot to get a laugh or jump out of me from a movie.....laughs a bit, jumps only if I'm in the theatre and it's quiet and the surprise comes with a really loud sound...ya know? But jumping at a little TV show....wow. That part was shocking.

The neatest part of the show is how everyone is woven together......that's the part I like best.

The parts I don't like about the show: the 40 other people. How can their be 40 other people that you never see at all? They should of just left it with 10 survivors or so, but I guess this way you can bring in some guy from no where to blow up as a shocker right? hehe

I also didn't get the polar bear. I mean the ghost-ie type of monster things are mysterious but the polar bear was just lame.....granted we saw it pictured in Hurley's comic book, but it's still sort of the lamest part of the show.

I do love the show though.....polar bear or not hehe.

Have a great day!

The theory of a lady at my other message boards is that Walt has some kind of powers, and he conjured up that polar bear after reading Hurley's comic book, and that's why "the others" want him. Whoa.

I love this show! I read on another board that the others kidnapped Walt so he will go down into the hatch. The other board has a theory that the hatch is too small for an adult to get down it, so they need Walt. Ican't wait for the next season. Tomorrow night is the pilot episode. I hope they will show the whole season. I plan on taping it so I can see all the things I missed the first time I saw it.

It was John Locke that called him Hugo. I noticed that also, and wondered how he knew his real name.

I watched the final episode again on Saturday. I don't know if it was shown again nationally or if our local station decided to do it on their own- but I watched it! Picked up on a few things I had missed. (I caught the "Hugo" and "160 million dollars" the second time! )

I like the Walt/special powers angle. That would be very interesting. That would also be a nice explanation for the polar bear. Because it really was lame.

Hurley- "You, uh, got some Arnst on you"- My absolute favorite line from the finale episode!

Oh Susie......that's so gross!

Hurley is funny though.

I watched the first episode again this eveing. I wanted to see if I would catch anything new. It was even good the second time around. Woohoo hehhe

Yeah, I was thinking that the hatch was pretty small looking when they blew it off. They only had a weird camera angle of it so it's hard to tell if anyone can fit down there. But, when I first saw it the first thing I thought was, "How's Hurley going down that?". Since we didn't get a great view of it I don't know if adults can fit down there. Actually the asian lady is so tiny she's not that much bigger then Walt. I still think they took him to fit him down there.....I guess we won't know until the fall! Uuuggg! No fair! hehe

I didn't really notice how small it is as much as I wondered how long is the drop after the ladder is broken off? Wondered how much rope are they going to have to use to get to the bottom- and how fast could they pull someone up if they encountered something reall horrible there?

Maybe "the others" live down deep in that hole, and there is a whole underground city there

I was thinking maybe the people eating security system lived down there. Maybe a whole colony of "things".

That's the buzz I've heard. The guy that plays Locke says it won't be very exciting at first, but it will blow our minds later. We're supposed to get some answers this season.

Is anyone going to guess what's inside the hatch? Can't be aliens or anything like that. I'm guessing another big clue!

Is everyone ready for the premiere tonight!!?!?!? DH and I keep reminding each other, we've never been so excited for a show and we watch tons of tv

well, really it's the beauty of DVR that we watch so much, but we usually wait tio watch shows so we can fast forward through commercials, but we're watching LOST live!

I'm pasting in the "any new lost watchers" thread that started up when re-runs began airing.
