Great forum. I have a phpbb forum myself and as search engine optimization is my profession (I run germanys largest resource on the subject of search engine optimization... http://www.abakus-internet-marketing.de/foren/ ) and willing to help yu get this forum properly indexed (thousands of threads arent indexed in Google) and to help you out with some modifications to get the onpage optimization of the forum to an optimum so each and every thread ranks well.
one thing i highly recommend is to get adynamic sitemap as I have done here...

This gets linked from many pages and is dynamic so every post autmatically gets added. It means that Google spiders the site a lot more. there are also other issues as well but I wont bore everyone going through them all.
Anyway, if you want the code for a dynamic sitemap or some free tips pm me.
