I just happened to come upon a website advertising this diet and wondered if anyone had tried it or even heard of it. Apparently it's pretty big in other countries.

I remember reading something on this years ago. I think it consists of lots of high fiber veggies and works under the theory that your body actually burns more calories to process the food than the calorie value in the food. You have to eat lots of broccoli, celery, cabbage etc. Do you have the link so we can have a look?

I found more info on it and your description is correct. I might try it just to get back into dieting mode again. I love SB, but I kinda fell off track. |

Just please remember that every time you go off onto some other diet that's extreme from how you eat now (and extreme is a relative word), you are putting yourself in a position to mess up your metabolism. In my humble opinion, it's just not worth it. It can take years to reset your metabolism.

To support your point, Lynda, here's a link to an article on metabolism that you posted!

I have heard of it........ Some foods burn more calories to digest then are actually in the food. such as celery, cabbage. That is one reason why people go on the cabbage shoup diet.
