| They will work but are only a very short term fix. Even on prom night, as you drink, eat you will replace the wt lost. I don't think they are worth the risk of dehydration or electroyte imbalance just for a very short wt loss on the scale. |

If you are talking about prescription pills as prescribed to patients with high blood pressure who retain fluids, don't go there! They drain the body of potassium and can be very dangerous if not closely monitored with blood tests.
How to get rid of fluid? Avoid salty foods and drink lots of water! Water flushes sticky fluids residue from the body. Avoid caffeine as it causes dehydration and fluid retention in an attempt to stabilize the body's liquids. |
