75 cal a day?

I keep hearing people talk about 75 calories a day? What is that for? :?:

You are allowed 75 calories a day of sugar free treats so that is prolly what you are reading about.

Thank you, that helped alot, :D I just dont understand how you can have a treat with no sugar? Does Splenda count?

yes... actually a really good treat is this

Take 1 no sugar added fudgsicle, 2 Tbsp natural peanut butter, and 2 tbsp light cool whip blend together and put in freezer for like 15 mins and it is like ice cream

Sugar-free Jello has 10 calories per 1/2 cup serving. This is from the Phase 1 list of Food to Enjoy - see the Phase 1 FAQ at the top of this forum for the complete list:

SWEET TREATS (Limit to 75 calories per day)
Sweet treats are items that contain sugar alcohols, such as:
Candies, hard, sugar-free
Chocolate powder, no-added-sugar
Cocoa powder, baking type
Fudgsicles, no sugar added
Gelatin, sugar-free
Gum, sugar-free
James and jellies, sugar-free
Popsicles, sugar-free
Syrups, sugar-free
Whipped topping, light or fat-free - 2 TBS
Some Sugar Free Products may be made with sugar alcohols (isomalt, lactitol, mannitol, sorbitol or xylitol) and are permitted on the SBD. They may have associated side effects of GI distress (abdominal pain, diarrhea & gas) if consumed in excessive amounts.
