I am a huge ketchup fan. You can have 2 TBSP of light mayo (not miracle whip). You can have 2 TBSP of the Kraft CarbWell Ranch. There are some new SF Ketchups now, too, that you can use. I was the SAME way, had to dip my meat in ketchup, so I feel for ya. That is why I think I can say this, too - you are just going to have to change the way you eat and cut back. There are lots of alternatives to the full fat/sugar sauces you are used to, but using them in moderation is important, too.

I went a full week without any dipping sauces and here are a few things that we did...

*Use your oils - especially olive oil when you cook your meat.

*Put a can of sf diced tomatoes in with your chicken or other meat when frying it up. Anything with Basil and/or oregeno works especially well with chicken. You can also do this with any tomato-based sauce as long as it doesn't have sugar in it. We ran out of tomatoes so we used Classico 4 Cheese to saute our meat in and it was really good.

*Melt lf cheese over your meat and/or chicken

*Hubby was experimenting and put some vanilla extract and cinnamon on our meat. Wasn't thrilled about it, but it wasn't as gaggy as I thought. I was probably more turned off to it because this was the day I picked up my sf ketchup and wanted to use it. Ketchup and vanilla/cinnamon do NOT mix.

*Use a mix like taco or fajita (ns) and throw some green/red peppers, onions, or other veggies in there. We actually did this with chicken and put it over some flaxseed pancakes for fajitas. We only used egg whites and didn't add as much flaxseed. It was outstanding!! There is no reason you can't use taco seasoning on steaks instead of ground meat either. Obviously mixing your own spices rather than a pre-mixed spice is better, but not all of us are that savy with spices. Just make sure anything you use is SB friendly.
