Hmmm, here's what we do for a ceasar salad
In a bowl combine roughly chopped Romaine, crumbled turkey bacon, freshly grated Parmesan-Regiano cheese.
In a seperate container combine one egg (you can use egg substitute), 2 crushed cloves of garlic, a pinch of kosher salt, some freshly ground black pepper , and the juice of one fresh lime. Whisk that together and let it sit in the fridge for about 10 minutes. After that, mix in EVOO.
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss.
Serve and enjoy :)

| My fave caesar dressing is so simple. just combine olive oil, balsamic vinaiger, dijon mustard, garlic and lemon juice. salt and pepper as well. I never really measure - just eye ball it. good luck |

It ain't a real ceasar if it doesn't have any anchovies!! I can live without the croutons, but don't skimp on the little fishy buggers!
FWIW, here is a link to the original classic ceasar salad recipe: Caesar Salad Recipe I don't think it is all that SBD friendly. Caesar Salad is named after chef Caesar Cardini who created it in his restaurant in Tijuana, Mexico in 1924. It became popular in Hollywood and is now considered an American classic. |
