I want to have some oatmeal with som fresh strawberries, scrambeled eggs and tomato juice.
Is this too much for my first meal?? Should I just have the eggs, oatmel and juice?
I have no idea what to do! |

| Might be yes. I'd probably start with just the oatmeal, the egg(s) and juice. Adding fruit and oatmeal in day 1 may be too much of a good thing all at once. Also if you are adding the oatmeal, you might try just one egg to start with, wait a half hour and see if you are still hungry for more eggs. Most folks find that the oatmeal is filling all by itself, but adding a little protein certainly doesn't hurt and is usually a good idea to provide some balance with the newly introduced carbs as well. The rest of your day should look pretty much like P1 at this point as well. Try to stick to one carb or one fruit for the first 5-7 days to see how you react to it, and then add another, usually of the other carb type. So if you add oatmeal for breakfast this week, then next week have the oatmeal and 1 fruit (again not necessarily together) for another 5-7 days and then add either another grain/starch or another fruit and so forth until you work up to 2-3 grains/starches and 2-3 fruits and see how your body reacts along the way. |

| Redroxco is right. If you start with the oatmeal and fruit together, then feel real hungry or have cravings, you won't know which item caused it. Reintroduce only one food at a time. Some people add another food in 4 days or so, others wait a week. |

Definately too much. Start with one grain at one serving a day and work your way up.
Start with something you miss. Remember, you just made it through the toughest part of the diet, so you need to ease into P2 and not go nuts with the eatin'.
I've been on P2 for a month and I'm just to the point where I know what I can eat and what I really shouldn't (fruit still stalls my weight loss). |
