Hi
I stayed on Phase one for three weeks, well alittle over. I want to eat some whole wheat pasta or low carb pasta. What is my best choice? I also found a cereal at Trader Joe's called Hi-Lo 12g protein, 1 gr sugar and 5 net carbs. Ingrediants inclde soy grits, wheat gluten, soy protien,(first three) I really liked it. had it with half cup of milk. (2 percent)
The pasta is the real challenge. What kind can I buy and enjoy?

Hi Lynda...............(think I met you on the PH1 board??)
Whole wheat pasta is allowed on PH2...in moderation.
I bought some the other day...but have not tried it yet ! So let me know if you try it first and like it, OK?
I also got some carbsmart spagetti sauce (AND :oops: :oops: carbsmart alfredo sauce too)....again, have not tried them yet....gotta run them by the board members to see if they are OK....if so...GREAT...if not I will give them to my daughter-in-law )
The whole deal in PH2 is to S L O W L Y add new foods I think you are to add 1 or 2 new food per week and see how you are doing .....I have added fruit and whole wheat so far and still doing great.
Looks like you did GREAT in PH 1...CONGRATS....WELL DONE !!

| I thnk met you too! Phase I was hard but went ok, I just have a real trouble with exercising. I have a real nice treadmill but the desire to use it is not there!!! How stupid is that...Think it is disipline...will work on that. What do you think about that cereal I mentioned from TJ's? :) |

| I'm not sure about the cereal, but I think the milk is supposed to be skim, 1% or soy. |
