| I had never heard of sugar free syrups until I came to this site but they sound really good. Where in the grocery store can I find them? What brands are the best? Do they have any aftertaste? Thanks! |

| The two best ones are Torani and DaVinci. You can order on line but if you have a World Market, TJMaxx or Marshalls, you can find some there. The World Market here has oodles of Torani for $6 for a big bottle. I'm not home or I would look and see how big it is. I use them in coffee and am just starting to use them in cooking. They have no aftertaste at all. I love them. |

You can get sugar-free maple syrup at your grocery store.
They are right next to the "regular" maple syrup.
Enjoy it, |

| Most grocery stores and even the Super WalMart have some. Look for them by the coffee. The flavors in the SF are quite limited in this area though. Had better luck at TJMaxx and Marshalls. |

| I found a selection of sugar free goods in the diabetic area of the pharmacy in my grocery store. I bought Sorbee's SF chocolate syrup and tried making chocolate milk with it - yuck! It did not mix properly and tasted bad. I haven't used it for anything else yet - maybe I will try it in a smoothie or something to see how it is. |

Hmmm..... I thought the Sorbee chocolate syrup was pretty good -- I can definitely tell it's sweetened w/splenda but it makes the ricotta cremes MUCH better!
And we really like Sorbee's maple syrup sweetened w/splenda. We've tried the Walmart and Log Cabin -- they are okay but I think Sorbee's taste more maple-y. We also have the maple whey low -- it has a recipe for syrup -- I just don't think it will make up in the consistency of syrup.
You can check out the sorbee syrups at Sorbee.com. |

After reading all the posts on here about the Da Vinci SF syrup, I had to make a special trip out today to find some and all I can say is WOW that is the best tasting thing I've had since I've been on the beach !!
They only had 3 flavors...vanilla, raspberry, and irish creme....so I had to get a bottle of each and do some taste testing. I mixed some into FF plain yogurt and.......YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM......there go all my cravings for pudding and ice cream .......
RUN (do not walk) to your nearest store and buy some of this !!!!! |

Maybe the Sorbee's is just not meant to be mixed with milk. I'll try it in something else. I think the main reason I thought it tasted bad is that it did not mix properly.
I saw the Davinci or Torani syrups, cant remember which, at a low carb grocery store here. There were many flavours, from Cookie Dough to Kahlua to Vanilla and so on. I didn't know which one to get, or what I would use it for, so I skipped them for the time being. Maybe I will get one to add to coffee in place of Splenda, as I find the foaming reaction of the Splenda in coffee somewhat unappetizing. |

Hi - I don't know if any of you have access to any grocery outlet stores, but there are a few around here (2 are really close to my house), and you don't have to have a membership. They're called cash & carry. Maybe check in your phone books to see if there is anything like that around you... but the ones by my house stock all of the coffee syrups, Torani and Davinci. The sugar free selection is very extensive, and the best part about it is they are less than $4.00 for the 750 ml. bottles. They also carry the pumps for them. Anyway, it's worth a try if you can find a cash & carry near you. The cash & carry stores are maintained by wholesale grocery companys, so if you have a wholesale grocery company in your area (not like Costco or Sam's Club), then you probably have a cash & carry also.
Hope that helps some of you. |

| Thank you all for your responses! I am definitely going to have to go to the TJMaxx by me and see if they have any syrups there. What recipes can I use them in besides coffee? |

| If you want to see the "whole line", you can take a look at www.torani.com or www.davincigourmet.com. I think www.netrition.com also has them and their shipping is quite cheap. Good luck, we practically live on these syrups! |
