... all of the time. I was fine on P1, but ever since transitioning to P1 on Sunday, I can eat and I'm still hungry. I just had breakfast and my tummy is still growling at me. I've gained 3lbs too. Any ideas?
Edit: Come to think of it, it may be getting to that TOM. But still, I'm hungry! |

| EAt more SB allowed foods. You should not be hungry after eating your meal. Try eating some beans also. They are really filling. You can post your typical days menu and we can look at it for you. |

If you're on phase 2, why don't you try to add a piece of whole grain toast in the morning with your omelette. How much mushroom and cheese are you adding into it? Don't forget that cheese is a protein, as is the egg. You want to balance out your meals with protein, carbs & good fats (and of course, your veggies). Try putting some olive oil in your omelette. It'll help fill you up.
Your snack is actually another breakfast in itself. Is it before or after your cereal that you're becoming hungry? If it's the grains, which it is for many people, try adding fruit to breakfast instead.
You're taking in a lot of cheese. You might want to cut back some.
Are you drinking enough water? Try an ice-cold 16 oz glass before each meal.
When all else fails, eat more veggies. |

Mushrooms - I don't know amount. I add in what I think the eggs will hold. Cheese - I usually use a slice of Kraft 2% singles.

Before, which is the reason for the snack. I was trying to keep bread out of the house to prevent, well, eating the entire loaf. :)

I'm from Wisconsin. Cheese (and ketchup pre-SB) goes on everything! Do you know what the cheese serving size is for a day? I usually just throw in a bit of grated low-fat cheddar onto my salads. And on cheeseburgers I use Kraft.

Probably not. I drink flavored bubbly water to try to get more in. |

With your mushrooms, try to get in a cup if you can... I'm a huge fan of mushroom omelettes and although it seems like a lot, they contain so much water that it doesn't seem they fill you up for long.
As for the cheese, it's not so much what the daily serving size should be. Every person here reacts different to cheese, it seems. For some, one serving a day is all they can have because it's such a diet buster. I've just drastically cut back on cheese because, like you, I was just sprinkling it on to everything or somehow adding it on. So, why don't you just try to cut back a little. I can appreciate you being from Wisconsin and am jealous of that, actually, but... a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.
Plain water really is the best... (I've just opened up a can of worms because many people don't believe this, but it's been proven time and again). :D |

| Thanks Lynda. I probably should've mentioned too, I'm hypoglycemic. Oh, and while I weighed less last week, I fit into a pair of jeans that I haven't been able to wear in more than a year today (they didn't fit last week when I tried). So maybe my body's still adjusting itself. |
